Our Wedding

We met in 2022 and felt an immediate connection. That first summer gave us space to grow individually while also growing closer together. What started as simply getting to know each other turned into something steady and certain, and by the end of the summer, making it official felt completely natural. Since then, we’ve grown side by side through some of life’s biggest milestones. He stood by me through student teaching, graduating college, and the first years of my teaching career — always my steady encouragement and biggest supporter. I’ve had the joy of watching him become an incredible dad to Emmy, and seeing the love, patience, and intention he brings to fatherhood makes me admire him even more. When we’re not working hard, you can usually find us on a spontaneous road trip with our favorite playlists, at a concert singing at the top of our lungs, or spending time with our families — the simple moments that mean the most to us. I’ve also embraced my role as his golf cart driver and his game-day sidekick, learning as I go and loving every minute of it — especially during those nights spent cheering on his favorite hockey team in Victory Green. What began in 2022 has grown into a love rooted in friendship, growth, and choosing each other every single day. We can’t wait for all the chapters still to come.

Kit is my 11-year-old little sister and my Maid of Honor.  I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. She brings so much joy and laughter into my life, always keeps it real with me, and somehow manages to make even the simplest moments feel special. Watching her grow into such a kind, spirited, and fearless little person makes me so proud to be her big sister.

Faith has been one of my closest friends since the early days of college and has truly been my rock through every season of life. As my matron of honor, I couldn’t imagine anyone else by my side—she always has my best interest at heart and is there for me no matter what. Whether it’s helping with the little details, like making shirts for the bachelorette, or sharing in the excitement of every wedding decision, she shows up in the most meaningful ways. I’m so grateful for her friendship and so honored to have her stand beside me on this special day.

Ashlee started as my youth intern at church, but it didn’t take long for her to become such a meaningful part of my life. As my roommate and close friend, she’s constantly encouraging, endlessly funny, and so loving — I’m so thankful for the way she shows up for me in every season.

Aaryn and I met at church camp in high school and what started in small group has grown into a steady and lasting friendship. She is honest, loyal, and always goes out of her way to make others feel seen. I know that I can always count on her, no matter what.

Ayrial and I met as young adults, but our sweet friendship quickly became one that I treasured dearly. She is such a fun and bubbly person who always makes those around her feel special. She has a natural way of lifting others up and bringing joy into every moment. Her genuine heart and positivity make her someone everyone loves to be around. I’m so lucky to have her as a friend.

Autumn is a dear friend from high school who has always been there for me during life’s most memorable moments. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support mean the world to me. I’m so excited to have her by my side on my wedding day, sharing in all the love and joy.

Jagger is Logan’s little brother and best man, and he is someone we both look up to in so many ways. He is wise beyond his years and always gives the best advice when it’s needed most. He is incredibly loyal and strong-willed, someone you can always count on. He’s also the best person to watch a Christopher Nolan movie or a good South Park episode with. His love for others, especially his family, is inspiring. There truly isn’t anyone else who could fill the role of best man better than Jagger does.

Jack is Logan’s younger brother and always has a way of saying the funniest things at just the right time. While he may be a little more quiet, he has such a genuine and thoughtful personality that makes him so easy to appreciate. His calm presence and subtle humor bring a lot of light to the people around him.

Jacob is Logan’s brother, and their relationship is built on a strong and meaningful bond that continues to grow. Whether it’s through music or sports, they share so many moments that have brought them closer together. Jacob is incredibly wise, gives the best advice, and is one of the smartest people we know.

Austin has been a friend of the bride’s since high school through church youth group and quickly became just as special to the groom. He is funny beyond measure and always brings a lighthearted energy to every moment. He’s a great golf partner, movie-watching buddy, and meme enthusiast who makes everything more fun.

Keeton is the bride’s younger brother and someone who plays an equally special and important role in both of our lives. From brother to best friend, some of the bride’s favorite moments are the late nights spent laughing and reminiscing about all the memories they share. To the groom, Keeton is not only a brother-in-law but a true friend—someone he respects, appreciates, and is grateful to have gained as family.

Bailey is another friend the bride met in high school who has become such an important part of our lives, especially as one of Logan’s mentors and closest friends. He is someone you can always count on—whether it’s an invite to share a beer around a campfire or meet up at a favorite sports bar. Bailey brings wisdom and perspective to every conversation and has a way of reminding others of what truly matters in life.

James may be small, but his personality is huge! The bride’s little cousin, he’s sweet, energetic, and full of joy. When we asked him to be our ring-bearer, he shouted with glee, “I AM BRINGING THE RINGS!”—and we knew right then that he was going to make our ceremony even more special and unforgettable.

Emmy, Logan’s spirited daughter, is bursting with energy and personality. Full of spunk and charm, she lights up every room she enters. We can’t wait to see her twirling down the aisle, spreading joy and flowers (and maybe a few giggles) along the way!
